One of the species of antelopes, with the white blaze on the face, brownish coat and horns ringed almost to the tip, is what Blesbok looks like. In the highveld and grassveld plains, they can be found in the herds with their female and younger ones in South Africa. They have a muscular body and weighs approximately 60-80kg.

Blesbok is mainly active in the daytime and it is said, that the best time for hunting them is when they are grazing in the morning/afternoon time. While shooting them, hunters ambushed in the grasses should point their rifles to the target with the calibres like .270 or .300 magnums.
