About

Location: Numzaan Safaris is a popular hunting safari company based in Limpopo province of South Africa. Our main lodge is situated only three hours northwest of OR Tambo International Airport, nestled beside the pleasant community of Thabazimbi, and blessed with a magnificent view of the Waterberg mountain range.

About your host at Numzaan Safaris: Stef Swanpoel, Owner. Stef is the owner and founder of Numzaan Safaris. He is married to Lenette, and they have three sons, Jaco, Hano, and AJ. Stef has been hunting professionally for over 25 years, and has devoted himself to the company for more than 20 years. Stef is also actively marketing in the United States.

Hunting experience at Numzaan Safaris: From our five beautiful lodges, we hunt on over 200,000 acres of prime concessions in the surrounding area. In addition to the Limpopo province, we also offer hunts in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Freestate, North West Province, Northern Cape, and Eastern Cape, as well as Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and Namibia. Our hunting grounds are hand-picked for not only the quality of the game that populates them, but also the thrill of the hunting experience. This is real hunting as it was meant to be: in the wild. There is no bad time to hunt in South Africa!  Our hunting season runs from February 1st until November 30th.  Planning your hunt according to your hunting preference is very important, so we recommend that rifle hunts are planned March through October, and bow hunts - a minimum of 10 days -July through September. We specialize in plains game and offer hunts for species like eland, gemsbok , duiker, impala, springbok and waterbuck. Bow-hunting or rifle hunting both hunting methods are welcome.
