The domicile of India, Nepal and Pakistan, Blackbucks are also known as the Indian Antelope. Their survival is mainly on the grasslands and on the exteriors of the water bodies to help them stay hydrated to their water needs. In the dry seasons, they feed on the fruits, flowers and pods. Blackbucks, the indigenous of India, are brown and are tanned as they grow. They have white highlights on the eyes, ears, chin, underparts and the ramp. The horns of the blackbucks are termed as 'trophies'. The grown males have V-shaped horns, which are 25 inches long from the shoulders. Females have been recorded with the 28 inches higher trophies embellishing their wildness.

The coiled horns and shiny black coat, blackbucks easily entice the hunter's attention. Their distinct features make easier for their human predators to hunt them. While hunting for blackbucks one should wear camouflage print, with their astonishing vision potency, it can be a tough task to be assigned for. One thing, hunters want to avoid while the blackbuck hunt is not to scare them. They are agile, i.e they can reach the speed of 80km/h while running. The hunters usually follow the walk-and-stalk hunting method to witness the exotic beauty of their horns and enliven the experience.
