Your host at Gregynog Hall: Amy Evans, Director. Amy has played an integral part in the development of the company from a young age and since finishing her University studies has taken up the role of sales manager as well as looking after events and marketing. Amy is currently overseeing the launch of our World Wide portfolio of exclusive destinations and is in the process of organising forthcoming events and shows both nationally and internationally. We are a very well established, vertically integrated business based in Mid Wales. Originally founded on traditional agriculture – we have diversified over the past 29 years to specialise in the production and rearing of pheasants and partridges, and ultimately – the wonderful sport these birds offer.

Typical day at Gregynog Hall

Firstly, we aim to tailor your day to suit your team requirements. The shoot host will always aim to meet you the night before to ensure you feel comfortable during your stay with us, also allows questions to be asked and details of the day to be discussed. The following morning the shoot host will greet you at the shoot lodge with coffee and tea before the briefing and drawing of pegs. A typical day consists of 4 to 5 drives and ensures sufficient time for plentiful elevenses. Lunch can be served in the middle or end of the day. To finish the day afternoon tea is served and the game card is provided which is always a great way to reflect on the day and share tales from the line.

A well organized shoot with ample high birds coming over in a steady stream. Nice variety of drives. Very attentive and kind staff and an offering of delicious elevenses and lunches.
