Wildman Lodge is a remote wilderness Alaska fishing lodge providing guided fishing trips on the pristine Alaska Peninsula for Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout and Arctic Char. Wildman Lodge is Alaska's premiere sport fishing lodge. Before choosing an Alaska lodge, SIMPLY ASK, "How close is your nearest neighbor?" We are not located in a village or on a river with ANY other lodge.
Wildman Lodge is truly a wilderness lodge where you won't see anyone that you didn't see at breakfast. AND... You won't find better fly fishing water than we have right here on Ocean River, a beautiful artesian river where high and muddy water or crowded fishing conditions simply do not exist!

Fly-fishing experience at Wildman Lake Lodge: Wildman Lodge is a remote wilderness Alaska fishing lodge providing guided fishing trips on the pristine Alaska Peninsula for Salmon, Steelhead, Rainbow Trout and Arctic Char. We offer fishing adventures of three types namely: Flyfishing, Sport Fishing and Fly Out Fishing. Many of our anglers enjoy using double hand Spey rods for salmon and steelhead, while others prefer the traditional single hand fly rods. Whatever your pleasure, our remote wilderness rivers lend themselves well to a wading and casting fly fishing trip for salmon, rainbow, char or steelhead. The Alaska Peninsula has many such fly fishing rivers. We use Jet boats for transportation along these streams, but wade fishing, on firm black volcanic sand bottoms, is typical on these Alaska Peninsula rivers. Available species are King, Sockeye, Chum, Pink and Silver salmon, plus Rainbow, Arctic Char, Dolly Varden and wild Steelhead. Floating fly lines with sink tips are favored on most rivers, but anglers wanting to try dry flies for Rainbow and Char or top water poppers (wogs) for Silver Salmon will need a floating line. We use 6 weight rods for trout and char, 8 weight rods for most salmon and either a 9 weight or 10 weight is preferred for King Salmon fishing. Click here for quick link country guide.
