About

Location: You will find us 20 minutes south of Särna, 40 minutes north of Sälen on road 311, in a small community called Husvallgölen. From the road you will see a sign where there are Nordic Footprints. The nearest airports are Sveg and Mora, both within a 1.5-hour drive.

About your host at Nordic Footprints: Samuel Jakoby, Guide and Partner. The Nordic Footprints family company was launched in spring 2007 with the goal of offering well-packed nature experiences focusing on hunting, fishing and hiking. Our base is located in Husvallgölen, between Sälen and Särna. On site at Husvallgölen, Samuel and Nathalie Jakoby work, both of whom are educated natural guides with a great interest in nature. The foundation stone of all our experiences is personal service, small groups, nice accommodation, good food and of course a good experience in nature!  We teach you fly fishing from scratch or improve your skills. With a maximum of four people per guide for two days in northern Dalarna, we will teach you the noble art of fly fishing. Do you already have all the skills you need, why not follow a fly fishing trip to the Swedish mountain world. This year we arrange trips to Fulufjället, Rogen and Ritsem. Max 6 persons per group! The fishing trip at Fulufjället is just like our fly fishing course certified with Nature's Best.

Fishing experience at Nordic Footprints: Do you want to live well and have the majority of fishing waters within a few kilometers?  In that case, we recommend that you look into a fishing holiday here in northern Dalarna. Just outside the camp lies Fuluälven; perfect for harry and trout fishing. Our fishing camp's offer includes a day of fishing guide that shows the perfect waters for you. Also be sure to improve your fishing technique using your guide! You also have the opportunity to add full board; perfect for those who want to focus on fishing. Contact us for a price suggestion. The camp is open from late May to October 15th. Worth noting is that the trout is safe in flowing water time 15 / 9-31 / 12. Minimum dimensions Earring and redding 25 cm. Harr 30 cm. If you do not have your own equipment or maybe just want to travel easily, we will rent both fly fishing equipment and spin fishing equipment. You can also rent womens pants by us. Beetles, dragons and flies can you bring yourself or buy from us on site. In connection with extradition of the fishing gear, a deposit is returned on return of full equipment.Click here for quick link country guide.
