Fish And Safari Kenya

The owner says

kenya is the magic landit is a land full of stark contrasts. from tropical beaches to snow capped mountains, dramatic arid landscapes to lush savannahs teaming with game. beautiful people, diverse cultures and ancient traditions! an eden for wildlife and birds. there is so much to see and do, that one visit is not enough to experience all that this wonderful country has to offer. after your first safari to kenya you will want to come back again and again; it somehow manages to get under your skin, what we call the ‘kenya bug’. a safari in kenya captures the imagination and awakens the spirit of adventure. we offer a 'one stop holiday planning service' (all under one roof), drawing from personal experience, to introduce you to this amazing country. tourism in kenya has come on in leaps and bounds and they are aiming to develop quality over quantity “low impact high income”. higher standards have been set and codes of conduct are enforced where necessary which encourages responsible tourism practices. ethical or eco-tourism is the word which is defined as ‘responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and sustains the well-being of the local people’. eco-tourism kenya was formed in 1996 and now a number of hotels, lodges and camps have been certified under the eco-rating scheme. an eco-rating is based on efforts to conserve the environment (sustainable tourism) and supporting the welfare of local communities. we endeavor to support these operators where possible. we recommend flying from place to place, either using scheduled services or private charters in small single or twin engine aircraft. there are two main rainy seasons in kenya that dictate the best time to visit, rather than changes in temperature. the long rains are normally april through to mid june and the short rains in november, these months are known as the ‘low season’. during the high season it can be busy in certain areas, although, if you visit the right places and have a good guide, these busy areas can be avoided. low season months can still be very rewarding, it often does not rain every day, temperatures are cooler and accommodation is more available, although, some properties do close for the rainy months.
