About

Location: Blue Ribbon Flies is located in West Yellowstone, a town in Southern Montana.

About your host at Blue Ribbon Flies: Cam Coffin, Owner. No one knows fly-fishing better than the staff and guides at Blue Ribbon Flies. Whether you are interested in a fly-fishing vacation on the trout streams of Yellowstone Country or a trip to the sandy flats of Belize - you have come to the right place. Blue Ribbon Flies is licensed throughout the state of Montana as well as Yellowstone National Park, Gallatin National Forest and the Beaverhead National Forest. This institution is an equal opportunity provider and is operated under special use permit under the Gallatin Forest.

Fishing experience at Blue Ribbon Flies: Whether you've been fishing the Madison longer than Quake Lake has had still water, or it’s your first day a pair of Gore-Tex Waders, a float trip down the Madison River with a Blue Ribbon guide is the best day of guided fishing that money can buy. Our guides spend more time in a drift boat every year than most people spend in their automobile. Float trips are our most popular trips, and after spending a suspenseful day covering every nook and cranny of 10-12 miles of fish-filled water you’ll see why.

From learning how to read water to executing the perfect reach cast, a day in a drift boat is not only an adventure, but the perfect environment to learn the art of fly fishing. In addition to the mighty Madison our guides frequently float the Yellowstone, Missouri and Beaverhead. So, the next time you’re in Yellowstone Country, treat yourself to something really special and reserve a float trip with a Blue Ribbon guide. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget. Click here for quick link country guide.
